Australian Climbing Festival

WELCOME

Thanks for all the great feedback on the 2007 event!  If you missed it we are holding the next one in 2009 so don't miss out and also go to the 'events' page for a sample of the sort of things we got up to.

The festival is put together by a group of climbers with input from hundreds.  The purpose is to provide a good old face to face gathering where we can chill out and catch up with new and old friends, get involved in the events, and then take stock of why we climb and what lies ahead.  This event will showcase's Australian and International speakers and films plus an array of crazy competitions and climbing related fun.

Mark your calenders as the next festival will be held Friday April 10th to Sunday April 12th in 2009.  We plan to have a similar non-stop climbing smorgasboard to get your fix but hold it over 3 days to give more time to mellow out and chat with long lost friends. One idea we are working on is a 'Deep Pool Soloing Comp' so stay tuned... Also the festival relies heavily on community involvement so get working on any ideas, films, help, stories, or photos.
