This comprehensive exhibition-style area will house leading climbing and outdoor gear companies, guiding companies, and magazine companies. There will be lots of cheap gear on sale and competitions with great prizes. This is also where you'll find the 'World's Biggest Outdoor Gear Garage Sale', a huge fundraiser for the Australian Himalayan Foundation and a great place to pick up good gear at 'Garage Sale' prices.

'Worlds Biggest Outdoor Gear Garage Sale'
We will be hosting the Worlds Biggest Outdoor Gear Garage Sale, with contributions from retail outlets, suppliers, and anyone who has stuff they want to donate. This will be a great opportunity for you to get a bargain and/or give to a good cause. We will also 'auction off' some large ticket items.
All proceeds are going to the Australian Himalayan Foundation - this is an Australian based not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of the people of the Himalayas through sustainable projects in education, health and the environment. See Australian Himalayan Foundation
If you have any outdoor gear that is in reasonable condition, and that you feel would be better off out of your cupboard and helping to support AHF in their fantastic work in the Himalaya, then please remember to bring it along to the festival to add to the Garage Sale.
